Staff Meeting: Reviews & Ratings
Such an amazing gem. I love the fun references of their menu. We got the Regoku ramen and Gon n Killua ribs. First ramen I've had that is spicy! The ramen is packed with flavor and toppings. The ribs were so tender and I love the garlic oil and the sauces it comes with. The vibes of the food hall makes it even better. Highly recommend and will come often.
The owner was super kind and made the experience so memorable. To top it off the food was amazing. The Gon and Killua Ribs were so tender and well seasoned, it paired nicely with the Mom's Fried Rice. Also had the Tonkotsu Ramen which was delicious. Everything was amazing, would definitely come here again!
Such a cool place! Ordered the dragon breath chicken as well as the ramen. The food was pretty good! Very well prepared and the presentation was very pretty. There’s tons of outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. I recommend checking it out. The menu is fairly small but the quality is pretty good! I would suggest rideshare as the area is kind of sketchy and parking is pretty limited.
If you're a fan of food that's made with love and care, this is the place for you. Not only is the food incredible, but the actual environment is very authentic feeling. It gives off a very modern vibe with traditional roots, which I found very appealing. It also shares real estate with a few other businesses, including a great Boba tea and ice cream shop, and a bar. On to the food! The Blaze of Rengoku was rightfully spicy, but very TASTY! The egg was perfectly jammy and the pork had the right amount of crisp to it while soaked in the broth. My personal favorite was the fried chicken, Chef Louross must have made an especially crispy batch for us because it was spectacular. Very well seasoned even in the batter, not too greasy while still having that mouthfeel you'd expect from that kind of food. Overall a wonderful experience and I will most definitely be returning when I'm in the area! My father and I drove from Duluth MN to try the place and it was well worth it. Additionally, the head chef and people working were exceptionally nice, and seemed to go out of their way to create a truly wonderful dining experience.
The wings Wow they had an amazing crispy crust and the flavor was simple and savory. The Dumplings YUMMY i would recommend and not share. Keep them all for your self. I had the Kurimchikin. Wow has a great spice but you can taste all the flavors. The Classic Tonkotsu you can't go wrong with. So creamy. Had to end with the Sesame Balls for dessert. What a great way to end the meal.
I can't imagine giving less that 5 million stars. The food here is something special. The drowned dumplings are magically addictive. The fried rice has a ton of depth and flavor and remains moist, not dry. That was a first for me. The chicken wings are huge. It's a reminder that chickens are descendants of dinosaurs. They have a glorious crispy fry with a sweet heat that's perfectly balanced. My son who does not eat spice devoured them. Chef Lou, the gregarious and welcoming chef, pushes everything about this place over the top in exceptional style. If I lived in Minneapolis, I would eat at The Staff Meeting on the daily.
Chef Lou is very friendly, the ramen is delicious and the chili sauce we had on the side elevated it even more. Them take out wings were crispy and had a nice sauce on them. I wasn’t a fan of the drowned dumplings because they were a little cold but I’d definitely visit again
I visited Staff Meeting and tried the chicken wings and the classic ramen. The wings were decent—crispy with a good crunch and decent flavor, though nothing particularly standout. Unfortunately, the ramen was disappointing. The egg was overcooked, the chashu was dry and lacked flavor, and the broth was overly salty with the garlic oil overpowering everything else. On a positive note, the atmosphere was nice and inviting, so I might return to give other menu items a try.
